hi
I'm looking forward to coming to my first JuneBug Festival in June. Couple of questions...Is this an indoor or outdoor venue? How much is the cover?

Hi,
I'd love to help you book some great bands on your festival. I manage Lamont Cranston and others and a fan told me to contact you.
Thanks

Thank you Arlen for that great idea! Our only problem is the JuneBug committee consists of 3 people! We hardly have time to get done what has to get done. But if you would like to go further with your idea we think that would be lots of fun!

This may seem silly, but my family would like to offer up the suggestion of a "slug bug" (Volkswagen Beetle) parade during this years JuneBug celebration. On any given day around town a dozen or more of them can be spotted driving the streets of Northfield.

Imagine a parade comprised of nothing but "slug bugs". A prize could be awarded for the oldest bug in the parade, the bug that 'flew' the farthest to be in the parade and so on. Perhaps VW themselves would throw in some money for prizes and advertisement.

Someone from the committee could contact the Guinness Book of World records to see how many slug bugs would be needed to set/break the record.

A parade of this nature might even attract the attention of Kare-11 or one of the other major news stations.

As I said earlier, its a silly idea, but a fun one nonetheless!

You're welcome, Dan. Glad you played as much as you did.

And some day, we're going to have to put you up on the roof again so you can play your sax for all of downtown, just like you did those many years ago,
